Join Us As We Kick Off National Disability Voter Registration Week with Press Conference and Volunteer Deputy Registrar (VDR) Training
National Disability Voter Registration week is July 17th -21st.
This is an opportunity to increase the political power of people with disabilities while also engaging candidates and the media to recognize the disability community.
Voting is significant way for the disability community to exert its influence at local, state and national elections. Help us increase voter registration and participation in the political process by attending the press conference and volunteer deputy registrar training.
Following the press conference, a Volunteer Deputy Registrar training targeted towards self-advocates, service providers, community members, etc., will occur. After this short training, sponsored by the Travis County Voter Registrar’s office, participants will be qualified to register voters in Travis County!
We encourage all people with disabilities and our supporters who are interested in making the DISABILITY VOTE Count to attend the press conference.
